Every person has the right to explore, understand, and express their sexuality in ways that are safe, affirming, and accessible. My role is to provide practical, evidence-based education and support that is specific to each individual’s needs, goals, and ways that they best learn.

Support areas might include:

  • Sexuality education (consent, boundaries, anatomy, self-care)

  • Gender identity, sexual orientation, and expression.

  • Sexual health (puberty, conception, contraception & STI’s)

  • Reduced sexual function (pain, fatigue, loss of desire)

  • Sexual dysfunction (orgasm difficulty, erection/ejaculation)

  • Anxiety/fear around intimacy

  • Intimate positioning support

  • Dating and cybersafety

  • Emotions, feelings and friendships

  • Relationships and social skills

  • Assessment of sexual knowledge, vulnerability/risk

  • Adaptive aids/sex toys

  • Self-pleasure education/rehabilitation

  • Public vs Private

  • Unwanted touch & personal space

  • Red flags & deal breakers

This Venn diagram illustrates how my work combines the disciplines I am trained in to address barriers to sexual health, intimacy, and relationships.

By combining these approaches, I can support and educate on sexual health, function, intimacy and relationships, offering person-centred, practical, and holistic support.

A Venn diagram comparing occupational therapy and somatic sexology approaches to intimacy and sexuality, highlighting overlapping and unique strategies in each field.
